About the University

• International School of Medicine (ISM) is a structural unit of International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) created for medical research and to provide high quality medical services.
• The International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) was created in March 1993 by a decree of President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
• The IUK is a member of:
  • World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC)
  • Association of European Universities (EUA)
  • European Association for International Education (EAIE)
  • Global Alliance for Transnational Education (GATE)

• ISM was established in 2004 and is today one of the highly respected medical university in Kyrgyzstan.
• ISM follows the European System of Transformation of Credits (ESTC) which enables students to move to European Universities.
• The MBBS program at ISM if of 5 years duration and fully approved by Ministry of Education & Ministry of Health of Kyrgyz Republic.

International School of Medicine (ISM) is an international higher educational institution and is a structural unit of IUK (International University of Kyrgyzstan) created to train medical specialists, conduct medical research in cooperation with leading health centers of the country and countries of Far abroad.

ISM is one of the top higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan where the program with the medium of instruction in English. As a part of IUK the ISM have signed the Bologna agreement (EU), which sets up single and commonly European educational standards.

The International School of Medicine of International University of Kyrgyzstan is an official state educational institution with the license of Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic for medical education in General Medicine within 5 years of study.

At present time more than 1800 student are studying into International University of Kyrgyzstan among them 760 students are studying in the medical faculties from different countries.

The founders of the IUK are the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Academy of Sciences and San Francisco State University (USA). The IUK is located in Bishkek – the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. Building of the IUK is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings of Bishkek that is located on a central street of the city. In addition to Bishkek Campus, the university has three campuses which are located in the following cities: Osh and Jalal-Abad (southern region of Kyrgyzstan) and in Karakol-city (Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan).

The IUK is a member of the World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC), Association of European Universities (EUA), European Association for International Education (EAIE), Global Alliance for Transnational Education (GATE), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), International Association of Universities under UNESCO.

The IUK was awarded with International Gold Quality Star 2001, founded by the BID (Business Initiatives Directions) – organization, which during the many years selects companies and institutions with strong activity and business, leadership, new technologies implementation and innovation. In 2001 the IUK has entered to the list of 30 best universities of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

All the programs are implemented with the use of integration and modules based modern training technology developed with the support of World Health Organization (WHO) Experts.

Fee Structure of International School of Medicine

(1 USD = 65 Rupees)

• The above mentioned Fees is for calculation purpose & student will have to pay the fees actually mentioned in admission letter or changes if any whatever given by University
• VISA Processing, Documentation ,Air ticket ,airport drop and pickup ,consultanty service Charges – 2,00,000=00 Rs. - 20000 1st instalments at Registration time ( Admission Letter in 3-7 days) Rs - 50000 2nd instalment at visa processing Rs – 1,30,000 before the Departure

Tuition Fee - Includes Study Materials, Library Charge, Laboratory Charge & Examination Fee

Hostel Fee - Includes Accommodation, Bedding, Furniture, 24-hrs Electricity, 24-hrs Gas in Separate Kitchen, 24-hrs Hot &Cold water supply and Centralized Room heating system.

Eligibility: He / She should have obtained aggregate 50% marks in the Physics / Chemistry / Biology/English in the 12th standard. As per the requirement of the Medical Council of India. There are no entrances examinations and the admissions are strictly on a first come first served basis. From world over there are large number of applicants and the seats are limited therefore, there is an added benefit to those applicants who apply early.
